Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the UKHO S-100 Sales beta service.
Beta Service
This service is currently in beta and is undergoing active development, testing and accessibility review.
The UK Hydrographic Office wants as many people as possible to be able to use this service. We are committed to making the service accessible and are working towards compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
We are designing the service to support:
- Keyboard navigation where technically possible.
- Compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Browser zoom without loss of essential functionality.
- Clear and understandable information throughout the ordering process.
Interactive Map Accessibility
The service includes an interactive coverage map used to browse available S-100 products.
We recognise that interactive mapping components can present accessibility challenges for some users and are continuing to review and improve this functionality as part of our beta accessibility programme.
Alternative methods of identifying and requesting products remain available through the product catalogue and ordering process, and we will continue to improve accessibility options as the service develops.
Known Limitations
As this is a beta service:
- Accessibility testing is still ongoing.
- Some content or user journeys may not yet meet all accessibility requirements.
- Certain interactive elements, including map-based functionality, may require further accessibility improvements.
- We are actively reviewing feedback and prioritising improvements.

Continuous Improvement
Accessibility remains an important requirement for the service and improvements will continue throughout the beta period.
User feedback and accessibility testing outcomes will be used to prioritise enhancements as the service moves towards a live offering.
